Dr Christy Toms

Christy joined the Paediatric Research Group in January. She completed her D.Phil at Oxford University, specialising in immunology. She spent 5 years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology where her particular interests where in the molecular characterisation of regulatory T cells and their role in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

As Programme Manager, Christy is responsible for coordinating the studies currently underway within the group and the set-up of new studies and clinical trials adopted by the Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit.
