Clare Wickings

Clare is deputy to the Departmental Administrator, Nicola Small, with particular responsibility for costing grant applications and supporting the grant application and set-up process, including arranging approvals from Research Services.

Clare is also the department Personnel Officer, responsible for all departmental employment matters and ensuring the department operates within University HR policies and good practice. This includes: managing recruitment and selection processes; issuing contracts and amendments; co-ordinating probation and appraisal processes; payroll matters; record keeping; contract termination/redundancy and advising department staff on a wide range of personnel issues.
