Dr Igho Onakpoya
Biography
Igho joined the Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford in June, 2011. Prior to this, he
was a Research Associate in Obesity at the Peninsula
Medical School,
Exeter; where
he conducted a series of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses of dietary
supplements for weight loss.
Igho received his undergraduate medical training in Nigeria, and
was involved in general practice for 6 years. He gained an MSc in Health
Services and Public Health Research (Health Services Research sub-specialty)
from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland in 2008.
