Biography
Kate Cahill graduated in English Literature from Sydney University, and worked for some years in publishing. In 1984 she joined the Unit of Health Care Epidemiology as a research assistant, and from 1997 worked in the ICRF General Practice Research Group as a data manager and clinical trials administrator.
Since 2004 Kate has been the full-time joint Review Group Co-ordinator of the Cochrane Tobacco Addiction group, working with Tim Lancaster and Lindsay Stead to produce and update systematic reviews for the Cochrane Library. This combines writing in-house reviews with supporting a global team of collaborative authors.
