Dr Maria Salinas

Maria E. Salinas is a psychologist and social anthropologist. She obtained her D.Phil from the University of Oxford in 2000. She has worked in health research, refugee studies, and gender relations in the academic, voluntary and business sectors for the last ten years.

Maria joined the Patients' Experience group in 2002 researching into adolescent and young people’s health. Maria has completed the sexual health and teenage cancer modules for the DIPEx youthhealthtalk site. Currently she is managing the diabetes in teenagers and young people module.
