Mary comes from a background of nursing and midwifery. She joined the department as a research nurse in 1998. Her role includes recruiting both GP practices and participants to studies, interviewing, assessing, delivering psychological interventions and maintaining study databases. Currently she is involved in studies into the gentic causes of Young Adult Onset diabetes. Part of her time is seconded to the NHS as the Primary Care Research Facilitator for Oxfordshire.
Mary has now completed an MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology.
