Mike Moher is a part-time GP and has been the Primary Health Care Teaching Co-ordinator since 2002. He liaises with and supports current GP teaching practices both in and outside of Oxford. In addition, he recruits new teaching practices to support the rapid expansion in student numbers at the medical school over the last four years. He actively participates in teaching seminars for the year 5 course and is responsible for the organisation and delivery of the year 5 assessment (OSCE).
Mike's educational interests are undergraduate community based teaching, students' attitudes, and communication between primary and secondary care. His research areas and publications have included cardiovascular epidemiology and assessing the quality of reports of randomised controlled trials. He received his MD from University College Dublin in 2002.
