Sally is currently the coordinator of an evaluation of successful self-monitoring of oral anticoagulation therapy (CASM).
Sally joined the unit in 2002 to coordinate a large multi-centre psychosocial evaluation of the impact of mammography surveillance on women under 50 with a family history of breast cancer (PIMMS). Prior to that, she worked at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit as the study coordinator of a large multi-centre randomised control trial of caesarean section surgical techniques (CESAR). From 1993 to 2000 she worked in the Psychiatry Department, Oxford University as a researcher and assistant editor of the Journal of Psychosomatic Research. Whilst there she was involved in several projects relating to: assessment of patients with chest pain, patient care during cardiac rehabilitation and long-term outcomes for road traffic accident victims.
