Dr Su-May Liew
Biography
Su May is from Kuala Lumpur and has been an academic clinical lecturer in the Department of Primary Care Medicine, University of Malaya, for the past 5 years and is currently doing a 3-year full time DPhil by research in Primary Health Care.
Her research is on cardiovascular risk assessment and she is currently reviewing the various cardiovascular risk scoring methods that are being used in clinical practice. She is also interested in Evidence Based Medicine and hopes to be able to help set up a centre for EBM in Malaysia. As part of the AsiaLink program (a project funded by EU between Oxford, Utrecht University, University of Malaya and Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusomo in Jakarta), Su May helps to run EBM workshops in Kuala Lumpur.
