Telehealth Studies

The group has an ongoing programme of work in the area of telehealth and diabetes in collaboration with the Diabetes Trials Unit and the Department of Engineering Sciences.  Mobile phone technology is being used to transmit blood glucose test results along with other diary data to a central server with real time feedback of blood glucose.  Web based data display tools allow education and monitoring of trends.
